After listening to the interview with Maya Moore, I was very interested in some of the questions regarding why she played. Also, how she started playing.

Even after T9 and listening to her comments, I wonder if sports still aren't equal? And if girl's lack of participation is due to the lack of opportunities or the lack of interest? Also who's fault is it that male professional sports are more popular, society's for lack of interest or the commercial industry?

Maya looking back at your life when you first started playing basketball was there ever a time where you looked in the mirror and said i can't do this? Did boys pick on you or did they encourage you to play? If they did tease you what message could you say to girls now to help them keep going and keep loving the sport of basketball?
