Sports and Society - More than a Game

The Aspen Institute Presents television show, which airs tonight on the WORLD Channel, concludes its first season with this episode on the role and effect of sports on our society. Should kids be playing football? Are the stakes too high for college athletes? Does our society idolize professional players?

NFL's Jim Brown, NCAA's Craig Robinson, ESPN's Jeremy Schapp and the Institute's own Tom Farrey explore these questions and many more at panels and roundtables from the 2012 Aspen Ideas Festival. We've collected the best of these conversations to bring you this one-hour special.
