We get so hung up in Washington, especially in Congress, on things like partisan advantage, political power plays and grudge holding. But a national tragedy like the killing of 26 innocent people, including 20 young children, jars us out of our partisan trenches.
We’ve partnered with the Bipartisan Policy Center to host a new Roundtable Series: "Conversations on Civility: Making our Democracy Work." This series will serve to identify and promote ways to improve our democracy. Each of four installments aims to highlight opportunities for educators, business leaders, and policymakers to form a more active and engaged community.
