Aspen Institute Italia is an international non-profit association dedicated to in-depth discussion of global issues and to a high-level exchange of opinions, information and values. Its mission is to internationalize the country's industrial, financial, political and cultural leadership. By bringing a value-based perspective to the most important issues of the day, it aims to represent the forum of choice for convening and developing leaders. The Institute focuses on the most important problems and challenges facing society, the business community, and the individual, inviting top industrial, economic, financial, political, social and cultural leaders to discuss them in reserved settings that encourage frank and open debate. Aspen Italia's success is due greatly to its methodology, which favors interpersonal relations and allows leaders to update and deepen their knowledge of the topic at hand. The aim is not to reach unanimous agreement or to crank out reassuring conclusions, but to bring to light the complexity of our world and to lead to a more profound awareness of universal values and ideals that are capable of inspiring a well-informed, forward-looking leadership.

Aspen Institute Italia is composed of a community of Sustaining Members, Ordinary Members, Friends of Aspen and, as of 2002, Aspen Junior Fellows. To fund its activities, the Institute relies on contributions from its members and company and institution sponsors.
