Aspen Wye River Conference Center

Join us at Wye River

By definition, a retreat is a place of peace, quiet, and privacy. What better example can be found than 1,100 pastoral acres overlooking the Wye River on Maryland's Eastern Shore? No wonder leaders from business, government, and academe converge at the Aspen Wye River Conference Centers to plan, to debate and to learn. Tour the conference centers by video at the Aspen Wye River website.

The site, sections of which were once known as the Wye Plantation, was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur A. Houghton, Jr. in 1979. William Paca, a signee of the Declaration of Independence and third governor of Maryland, maintained his family estate here and a monument to his memory stands near the Aspen Institute's Houghton House.

Wye River CentersNow you can meet in this remarkable place. Owned by The Aspen Institute, an organization renowned worldwide for intellectual advancement and leadership, Aspen Wye River Conference Centers offers three distinct, full-service executive retreats. Each has its own meeting and dining rooms, accommodations, and recreational facilities--and its own private view of the Wye River.

Choose one of these retreats for smaller groups, or reserve all three if you're planning a session for up to 100 individuals. No matter which Aspen Wye River retreat you select, you'll enjoy the professional attention of our Marriott Conference Centers staff members.
