Aspen Summer Words: The Aspen Writers' Foundation, a program of the Harman-Eisner Program in the Arts, presents the Aspen Summer Words Writing Retreat and Literary Festival, a five-day celebration of words and ideas, now in its 33rd year.

This year's festival, to be held June 21-26 at the Doerr-Hosier Center, flies under the banner "World of Words" and will be led by some of today's most gifted and engaging "literary tour guides" - Chimamanda Adichie, Ishmael Beah, Ron Carlson, David Davidar, Dana Gioia, Colum McCann, Mohamed Salmawy, Shashi Tharoor, Luis Alberto Urrea, and Binyanvanga Wainaina among them. This pioneering forum is the ideal venue for readers and writers alike. Afternoons and evenings are filled with Literary Festival events, including author readings and talks, interviews and Q&As, publishing industry panels, private consultations with editors and agents, literary awards, and social gatherings.
