The Aspen Institute Initiative on Financial Security hosts a vibrant debate on the financial reform effort. The discussion will be moderated by Walter Isaacson, President & CEO of the Aspen Institute, and will also feature Edward Yingling, President & CEO of the American Bankers Association, and Damon Silvers, Director of Policy and Special Counsel for the AFL-CIO.

The participants will touch briefly on how and why we arrived at the current crisis and then engage different views on the proposed solutions being raised to deal with consumer protection, foreclosures, derivatives, regulatory reform and systemic risk.
