Professor Useem, who heads the Center for Leadership at the Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania), is a foremost scholar and lecturer on leadership. Regularly quoted in the New York Times and the best business journals and national magazines, Professor Useem was a major participant in the recent World Economic Forum at Davos. The author, or co-author, of six books and countless articles, he has run leadership programs for dozens of Fortune 500 companies. An accomplished outdoorsman and formidable skier (which brings him to Aspen annually), Professor Useem leads a “leadership trek” to the base of Mount Everest each year. He will give his insights into the latest research on leadership, and case studies of successes and failures at the helm.
