Part 1 “What’s the World Coming To?” (9:00am – 10:45am) consists of a tour around the globe of economic and foreign policy challenges, with Gary Schmitt, co-director of the Marilyn Ware Center for Security Studies at AEI, and Dan Blumenthal, currently Commissioner of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission and a Resident Fellow at AEI.

Part 2 “The View from the Domestic Front in an Election Year” (10:45am – 12:15pm) looks at trends in domestic politics and what the polling data tell us, with Karlyn Bowman, Senior Fellow at AEI and an expert in the analysis of polling data, and Michael Barone, political analyst, journalist, principal coauthor of the Almanac of American Politics, and a Resident Fellow at AEI.
