Building Community and Breaking Poverty: How the National Service Movement Contributes to Self-Reliance in Low Income Communities
This convening will focus on the models and strategies being implemented across the country that are helping to build community self-reliance and leadership, while creating pathways to college and careers for low income young people, especially those who are faced with limited access to opportunity.
Partners in this convening include: The White House Office of Social Innovation, The Corporation for National and Community Service and Philanthropy for Active Civic Engagement.
