The 2013 Veterans Initiative Summit will focus on the connection between mental distress and domestic violence. The purpose of the Summit is to improve the mental health of veterans and preventing violence among military families by developing an online curriculum (CME certified) for frontline care providers who are outside the VA system, to effectively treat combat-related post-traumatic stress and prevent instances of domestic violence.
