Celebration of Innovation
The Celebration of Innovation is a holistic project designed to create economic opportunities for Palestinian youth through entrepreneurship, and in this way, create more jobs and stimulate the Palestinian economy.
This third annual Celebration of Innovation builds on the experience of the previous two events, incorporating lessons learned and focusing on core sectors in need of new thinking and innovative ideas, as well as the sectors that have been identified as those having the strongest economic potential in Palestine by calling for business ideas in the information and communications technology (ICT), tourism, sustainable energy, education and agriculture sectors.
Further, this year’s Celebration of Innovation will take place during Palestine’s first Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), a week-long and nation-wide celebration of entrepreneurship, held simultaneously in over 130 countries worldwide.
