Myanmar Partnership Opportunity Delegation

The week of March 5, 2016 the Aspen Institute and the Richardson Center for Global Engagement, will co-lead a Partnership for Opportunity Delegation (POD) to Myanmar, where participants will engage in meetings and conversations around investment and innovation focused on early technology, and small scale alternative energy solutions.

With the historic elections of 2015, Myanmar continues its steady transition to becoming a liberal democracy. This 50 million people-strong country is quickly becoming an attractive market and a budding ecosystem of small businesses. Myanmar is brimming with talented human capital, magnificient land, and abundance of natural and agricultural resources, recent explosion in access to mobile data and the political and cultural will to make significant economic strides.
