Hurst Lecture Series in Collaboration with the Aspen Strategy Group: Responding to the Rise of ISIS

The Aspen Strategy Group provides a bipartisan forum to explore the preeminent foreign policy challenges the United States faces. Its cross-disciplinary and high-level examination of policy strategies for addressing preeminent and emerging topics makes it crucially relevant to the American and global policy communities. 

Generously underwritten by the Hurst Family Foundation, the Hurst Lecture Series features conversations with renowned and inspiring leaders for public audiences in Aspen.

Featuring David Petraeus, former Director of the CIA, Frances Townsend, President of the Counter Extremism Project and former Homeland Security Advisor to President George W. Bush, and Bernard Haykel, Professor of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University, in conversation with Nicholas Burns, professor at the Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
