CNAY’s September 10 resource roundtable is the 18th meeting in this quarterly event series to convene policymakers and leaders of national organizations around issues affecting Native youth. The theme of this month’s event is “Aligning Federal and Tribal Advocacy Efforts with Ally Organizations” and will focus on how non-Native focused ally organizations can be inclusive of Native youth and supportive of the Generation Indigenous movement to expand opportunity and support youth development and leadership in Indian Country.

CNAY convenes representatives from federal agencies and national tribal organizations for quarterly roundtable meetings around Native American youth issues. During meetings, participants hear presentations from experts, community members, and Native American youth on topics like education, physical and mental health, public safety, housing and many others. The meetings are designed to encourage collaboration and coordinated action among federal agencies and with national tribal organizations.

 

This quarterly roundtable will convene federal agency representatives around collaborative approaches to alleviating challenges facing Native American youth.
