Nancy Izzo-Jackson, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, will shed light on perhaps the greatest refugee humanitarian crisis since World War II. Ms. Izzo-Jackson oversees the Offices of Assistance Programs for Europe, Central Asia and the Americas in the US State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration. One of America’s experts on refugees, she is a career member of the Senior Executive Service and a tenured member of the U.S. Foreign Service, having served with distinction in Liberia and Sri Lanka.
