Working Schedule Released for the 3rd Annual Washington Ideas Forum on October 5 and 6, 2011

Washington, D.C. (October 3, 2011) – At a time of unprecedented challenges at home and abroad, this year’s Washington Ideas Forum will draw together more than 60 policy makers, business leaders, and top journalists for a series of conversations and in-depth interviews about the direction of the country. The two-day forum, presented by The Atlantic, the Aspen Institute, and the Newseum, will take place on October 5 and 6, 2011 in Washington, D.C. before a live audience of hundreds and those watching the livestream online at TheAtlantic.com.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5 and mainstage programming kicks off at 1:30 p.m. Interviews and individual addresses will run 20-30 minutes (please note, all times are approximate and subject to change). Highlights of Wednesday’s programming include:
