What: | Release of a new Aspen Institute-commissioned research study Information for Impact: Liberating Nonprofit Sector Data conducted by Drs. Beth Noveck, former director of the White House Open Government Initiative, and Daniel Goroff who helped establish the Interagency Task Force on Smart Disclosure. The research recommends ways to improve public access to information on the nonprofit sector. Additionally, nonprofit researchers and data providers will demonstrate new web tools that use Form 990 data to reveal funding trends, map community problems and resources, and analyze nonprofit finances. |
