Fellows are competitively selected, highly accomplished, entrepreneurial leaders between the ages of 35-50, who will engage in a series of four Aspen-style moderated seminars designed to help them move from "success to significance." They are men and women who come primarily from business, but also from civil society and government.
In this seminar, Fellows explore what effective enlightened leaders do -- and do not do -- and develop a personal leadership handbook.

The ALI/East Africa Fellowship is aimed at building a corps of values-based leaders who will contribute to their countries and the region in tangible ways. Toward this end, all Fellows take on a leadership project that harnesses their personal passions and talents toward addressing a real need and making a difference in their communities.
