Biography
As Director of Web Operations, Jean Morra develops, implements, and manages operations for the web team across the Institute's multiple websites, social media, and interactive services. Additionally, Jean serves as senior editor for the Aspen Idea magazine and other communications projects. Previously, Jean was Technical Editor at Veridian, now General Dynamics, where she led the team that designed, wrote, and built the NPOESS satellite website, and Manuscripts Editor at The American Physical Therapy Association for the peer-reviewed journal Physical Therapy. She also taught English in Tokyo, Japan. Jean serves on the Advisory Board of Give An Hour, which provides free counseling to US military personnel affected by the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. She is a graduate of the College of William & Mary with a concentration in English literature.
