Biography

Jeff Harris joined the Aspen Institute in the spring of 2009 and currently holds the position of Senior Public Affairs and Social Media Coordinator. He is responsible for helping manage social media outreach and strategy for the Institute through Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Jeff also serves as a liaison with the news media, responds to public inquiries, coordinates news releases for Institute programs, works with press at public programs such as the Aspen Ideas Festival, and helps run the monthly Aspen Roundtable Series. Prior to joining the Institute, Jeff worked on media logistics for the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Committee and for the 2008 John Edwards for President campaign as a member of the national advance staff. He graduated from Duke University in 2007 with a BA in public policy and a minor in political science.
