Biography

Tarek Rizk oversees the websites, social media and other interactive services of the Aspen Institute, bringing together the organization's growing suite of online offerings. He is also deeply involved in planning major events around the Institute. He works with the web team to highlight the broad range of innovative work happening at the Aspen Institute. Previously, Tarek was Deputy Director of the Global Interdependence Initiative -- now the Advocacy Planning and Evaluation Program -- at the Aspen Institute, where he offered strategic guidance and oversaw creation of online tools to help plan and evaluate communication campaigns. He graduated from the American University in 1995 with a degree in international studies, focusing on peace and conflict resolution.
