APEP’s consulting services are tailored to each client, but success for us generally means leaving our clients with a sustainable strategy for assessing their own advocacy impact. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, APEP collaborates with clients to evaluate the impact they’ve made, and how they might adjust and adapt to better achieve their policy objectives.

Training and Presentations

APEP trains advocates and funders to understand the value of advocacy -- and to evaluate its impact.  We believe planning and evaluation go hand in hand.  And we believe in making a potentially intimidating topic - evaluation - accessible and even entertaining.  Our trainings prepare attendees to think carefully through their strategy and create benchmarks with which they can begin to track their outcomes, and ultimately, their progress.

Convening

The Aspen Institute has over 60 years of experience facilitating dialogue on challenging public policy issues.  Through our Advocacy Evaluation Breakfast Series, for example, we highlight innovative experts who are reshaping and redefining our growing field of advocacy evaluation.  We offer facilitation services to coalitions who seek a skilled neutral convener to help them establish – or regain - coherent policy goals and objectives.
