ANDE, UNCTAD, and the mHealth Working Group partnered to host a half-day meeting at the Aspen Institute centered on the role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in private sector development. The event featured highlights from UNCTAD’s recent report on the subject and a discussion with ANDE members and partners on the implications that these findings have for organizations working on small and growing business (SGB) development in developing markets.

ANDE 2010 Annual Conference
 
The 2010 ANDE Annual Conference took place in Glen Cove, New York. 2010 ANDE Metrics & Evaluation Conference
 
The Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) held its second annual Metrics & Evaluation Conference, Metrics from the Ground Up, on June 7th and 8th, 2010  in Washington, DC.  This conference included sessions on the current metrics landscape, updates and working sessions on the Impact Reporting and Investment Standards (IRIS) Initiative, an overview of new impact assessment tools, and more. 2010 ANDE Latin America Conference
 
From March 23-26, 2010, investment funds, technical assistance providers, development agencies, and others actively engaged in unleashing the potential of small and growing business (SGBs) throughout Latin America came together for the first regional conference of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE).  Participants gathered in the colonial city of Granada in Nicaragua at the beautiful Hotel Granada Convention Center and Lake Resort for three days of interaction and exchange.  Read more for news articles, pictures, and conference presentations
