Biography

Thomas Pritzker is Chairman and CEO of The Pritzker Organization, a family merchant bank. He is concurrently Executive Chairman of Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Chairman of the Marmon Group, Inc.  Mr. Pritzker serves on the Board of Directors of Royal Caribbean Cruises, LTD and is also a member of The Business Council, a national organization of CEOs.  Outside of business, Mr. Pritzker is Chairman of the Board of the Art Institute of Chicago and a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Chicago and the Center for Strategic and International Studies.  Mr. Pritzker organized the Pritzker Neuropsychiatric Disorders Research Consortium, which is a collaborative research effort into the genetic basis of psychiatric disorders.  He is an Honorary Professor of History at Sichuan University in China, and for the past 30 years has been leading archeological expeditions in the Western Himalayas.  Mr. Pritzker holds a B.A. from Claremont Men’s College, and an M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Chicago.  He is a member of the Aspen Strategy Group.
