The Aspen Writers' Foundation, one of the West’s pioneering literary centers, has been bringing readers and writers together since 1976. LISA CONSIGLIO, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Lisa Consiglio, Executive Director for the Aspen Writers' Foundation, has 20+ years of broad professional experience - including 8 years at the helm of the Aspen Writers' Foundation - in organizational development and management; fundraising; international, national and local marketing; and business communications. Her extensive background in the independent and nonprofit sectors includes leadership positions with The Aspen Institute (Washington, DC office), the Center for Policy Alternatives, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Battle of Normandy Foundation, the French Embassy, and the Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University Hospital. On the corporate side, she worked for Level (3) Communications in Hong Kong as Marketing/Communications Manager responsible for five Asian markets. Lisa co-founded the Komen Foundation/Aspen Affiliate's Aspen Snowmass Ride for the Cure in 2003, and has served on the boards of more than half a dozen nonprofits. She enjoys reading, skiing, cooking, biking, traveling, and being with friends and family.
