Business and Society Program

Aspen Leaders Forum

Leaders Forum Header

Empowering sustainability executives and their companies to seize the "license to lead" on complex societal issues of global importance

The Leaders Forum engages senior executives pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable company.  The Forum is a working platform for business leaders in global firms that have significant capacity to address complex societal problems — that rebound to the business environment.  The Forum creates space for critical thinking and reflection about business practice, and supports effective business-to-business collaboration.  The ultimate goal is long-term value creation for both business and wider society.

This group will meet periodically to support one another in their complex roles as leaders of business, and to leverage the capacity of the Aspen Business and Society program.

What Leaders Forum members have said about past meetings...

"This was my first time attending the Forum and it exceeded my expectations. The opportunity to engage with like-minded peers who are confronting the same challenges/opportunities and the quality of the discussions were exceptional. I have participated in similar dialogues...The Aspen Forum was much more useful for me..."

"How is it possible to have fun and learn so much all at once?"

"I consider myself to be very privileged to be able to sit in the room and converse with people who have such passion for what they are doing. It was like going back to school and jamming a semester worth of work into 36 hours. I am very much looking forward to our next gathering."

"My two visits to Aspen are among the most memorable work experiences I've had in the past 20 years."
