Communications and Society Program
Ian Smalley, Project Manager
Ian Smalley joined the Aspen Institute Communications and Society Program as Program Associate in May 2010, fresh out of Georgetown University, where he recently received his M.A. from the Communication, Culture & Technology program. He later assumed the role of Project Manager in May 2012, and is in charge of running the Conference on Communications Policy, Roundtable on Information Technology, Roundtable on Spectrum Policy, and Dialogue on Public Libraries.
Prior to moving to DC he lived in Boston for eight years, completing his B.A. in American Studies at Tufts University and working in nearby Waltham. In his free time he enjoys music and sports, and you can usually find him yelling at the TV during a Uconn Huskies or any Boston team's game.
