Chief Financial Officers Network (CFO)

The Chief Financial Officers Network is the Aspen Education Program's most recently formed network. It was convened at the districts’ request following an ad-hoc meeting of CAOs and CFOs in January 2009. The combination of the economic recession and the federal stimulus package created urgent opportunities for school districts to assess how financial resources are deployed and to focus on better alignment between goals and resource allocations moving forward. We work with Karen Hawley-Miles and her team at Education Resource Strategies to provide learning opportunities, tools, and technical assistance to the CFOs and to their superintendents.
