Global Forum on the Culture of Innovation
September 5- 7, 2012, Balboa Park, San Diego, CA
In September 2012, the Urban Land Institute and the Aspen Institute will join forces to organize the Global Forum on the Culture of Innovation. This international convening will serve as an influential platform for debate and action to nurture and sustain the creative capacity that allows leaders to re-invent their communities in light of past and present experiences, and future outlooks.
Over a period of three days, a group of over 200 policymakers, business leaders, technology experts, artists, scientists, and intellectuals from around the world will come together to share their experiences. They will address the challenges of creativity and innovation in socioeconomic and land development, highlighting critical issues to further inform the agenda of the 2013 World Summit on the culture of innovation. The Forum will be held at Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. Its program will consist of keynote addresses, plenary sessions, in-depth group discussions, workshops, artistic and cultural events, and the showcasing of creative and innovative experiences at the intersection of technology, culture, and business.
