Though years have passed since 9/11 without another terror attack on our soil, America is not yet safe. The Christmas Day plot shows that Al Qaeda remains determined to strike the homeland again. To answer critical questions about America's preparedness for terrorism, the Aspen Institute's Homeland Security Program, in partnership with The New York Times and GSN: Government Security News, presents the Aspen Security Forum. The Forum will bring together top-level government officials, industry leaders, and leading thinkers for two days of in-depth discussions at our Aspen Meadows campus in Aspen, Colorado on the state of:

aviation security                       critical infrastructure protection (including cybersecurity)

maritime security                      emergency preparedness

border security                         counterterrorism strategy

mass transit security                intelligence
