Socrates Seminars coincide with the busiest seasons for programming in and travel to Aspen, promising heavy passenger traffic. If you encounter difficulties, inquire about air service to Eagle Airport in Eagle/Vail, which is serviced by United. Eagle is an hour and a half drive from Aspen, and Denver is 4.5-5 hour drive from Aspen; and are easily accessed with the help of Colorado Mountain Express. Socrates seminar participants receive a reduced rate, which runs about $110.
