Children's activitiesThe Socrates program welcomes families, as we want to make this an event that meets the needs of vacationing families. Below are some suggestions of activities that you and your children. If you have any questions or to make reservations please contact these local companies directly.

For children under four who require babysitting assistance, Aspen Babysitting Company can assist with your childcare needs. Please contact Jen Currie directly at 970.948.6849 to make arrangements for your child.

Aspen has many opportunities for 4-8 year olds as well as for kids 8 and up who want a little more adventure.

Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) offers many different outdoor adventures for children of all ages.

The Aspen Recreation Center (ARC), Aspen's new recreation center (www.aspenrecreation.com), is complete with swimming pools and slide, a rock climbing wall and more!

For teens around town, Boogie's Diner (534 E. Cooper Street) is the only place in town where you can buy a pair of jeans and sit down for a milkshake. Kids can design their own pizzas at Merlin's (205 S. Mill Street, #226) or head over for dessert at Paradise Bakery (500 W. Main Street), which remains packed year around.
