Alan Fletcher, President and CEO of The Aspen Music Festival and School and veteran Aspen Institute moderator, Bill Cathers, team up once again to lead participants through an exciting journey of listening, thinking and discussion concerning the unique language we call music. This multi-media symposium will feature various genres of music, readings from composers and other experts, along with a collaborative search for the meaning of music from its basic elements to that mysterious region of significance which lies "beyond the nameable."
