Society of Fellows are invited to attend evening discussion receptions in donor's homes in Aspen, Colorado during the summer season.

Ambassador Bonnie McElveen-Hunter

Bonnie McElveen-Hunter was appointed Chairman of the American Red Cross by President George W. Bush. She is the former United States Ambassador to Finland (2001-2003) and the CEO and owner of Pace Communications, Inc., the largest private custom publishing company in the United States.
The company's clients include Fortune 500 companies such as United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, AT&T, Carlson Hotels, and Toyota.

Hara Estroff Marano

Hara Estroff Marano is editor-at-large of Psychology Today and author of the recent best-seller "A Nation Of Wimps".
In making life easier for their kids in the short term, Marano suggests, adults are making it harder for them in the long term. In addition, they are depriving their children of meaning and a chance at deep satisfaction.

Professor Galia Golan

Dr. Galia Golan is Darwin Professor Emerita of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where she was head of the Department of Political Science, Director of the Lafer Center for Women’s Studies and of the Mayrock Center for Soviet and East European Research. Currently she is Professor in the Lauder School of Government, Policy and Diplomacy of the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya, where she heads the Program on Diplomacy and Conflict Studies. Dr. Golan specializes in issues related to international crises, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and globalization. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2007 Israel Political Science Association Award for her Contribution to the Field, the New Israel Fund Award for Women in Leadership and the Gleitsman Foundation Activist Award. A frequent international media commentator, Dr. Golan has also served as a consultant to the Israel Defense Forces on the status of women and to the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Soviet and post-Soviet affairs. She is the author of nine books, mainly on Soviet foreign policy, as well as a recent book on the Arab-Israeli conflict: Israel and Palestine: Peace Plans and Proposals from Oslo to Disengagement.
