We invite you to join other Fellows at SOF luncheons this summer in the new Doerr-Hosier Center. Each lunch will run from 12:30 to 2:00 pm and will feature a guest speaker.

Isaacson Welcomes Fellows at First Luncheon
SOF Luncheon Friday, June 27, 2008, 12:30-2:00 pm
Walter Isaacson, President and CEO of The Aspen Institute, and Margot Pritzker, Institute Trustee and Chair of the Leadership Committee for the Board of Trustees, will be the featured speakers at the first Society of Fellows Luncheon this summer. Fellows will have an opportunity to learn about our Global Leadership Initiatives, which have grown to include more than 800 Fellows from the US and around the world, and the network that the Aspen Institute is building to connect and mobilize these dynamic and entrepreneurial leaders.

Dr. Deb Palmieri

Dr. Deborah Anne Palmieri is founder and president of Deb Palmieri Russia LLC, a management consulting firm.
The firm specializes in providing clients with expertise on all aspects of business with Russia, including strategy, problem-solving, risk minimization, corporate training, feasibility studies and special projects.
Dr. Palmieri is also Honorary Consul General of Russia in the State of Colorado. She served as president and CEO of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce (headquartered in Denver) from 1994 to 2007.

Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser
SOF Luncheon Friday, July 18, 2008, 12:30-2:00 pm
Dr. Jasser is the Chairman of the Board and founding member of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD). AIFD was formed by a small group of local Phoenix Muslim professionals in March 2003 as a startup think tank in support of the expression of Islam which is in synergy with American democracy, the U.S. Constitution, and the clear separation of religion and state.

Steve Roberts

Steve Roberts, news journalist, television commentator and author will speak on "How the New Media Affects Politics."
Roberts appears regularly on public television's Washington Week, CNN's Late Edition and the ABC radio network.
