The Middle East Strategy Group (MESG) supports pragmatic economic and policy initiatives that tangibly advance prospects for peace in the Middle East.  The group’s membership includes prominent American, Palestinian and Israeli business leaders and policy makers.  MESG is chaired by former Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and Madeleine Albright, Senators Dianne Feinstein and Chuck Hagel, and Palestinian and Israeli businessmen Samer Khoury and Idan Ofer.

The group is united by a common vision of a two-state solution to the conflict —  prosperous, secure, and democratic Israeli and Palestinian states living side by side in peace — and the desire to help develop tangible programs and policies that create momentum toward realizing that vision.

MESG's Mission

The need is greater than ever for a prominent group of American, Palestinian, and Israeli businessmen and policy experts to engage in dialogue, strategize, and develop collectively tangible policies and projects that advance the prospects for peace in the region.  The mission of the Middle East Strategy Group is to:

1. Continue and broaden geographically the dialogue among moderate business leaders and policy makers from the region and beyond regarding pragmatic, long-term economic and policy initiatives that build trust, enhance regional stability and promote peace;

2. Develop targeted economic projects that benefit ordinary Palestinians, private entrepreneurs, and moderate political leaders;

3. Strengthen moderate Palestinian private sector and civic leadership by serving as a “networker” of networks and a leadership forum.
