Nonprofit Sector Strategy Group

The Nonprofit Sector Strategy Group was a bipartisan leadership forum that met from 1997 to 2002 to address the most pressing issues facing the nonprofit sector in America, including nonprofit advocacy; the blurring between the nonprofit, for-profit, and governmental sectors; and nonprofit accountability. The NSSG-comprised leaders from the nonprofit sector, business, government, academia and the media--informed public dialogue and debate on nonprofit issues; and identified areas for needed research. Recommendations and findings of the NSSG can be found in the pamplets below.
