We're looking for men and women who have a demonstrated interest in running for or currently hold elective public office at any level of American government (local, state, or federal), who are under the age of 45, whom you can envision as among the very top political leaders of the future. In addition-- and this is the single most important factor-- the person you nominate must be somebody you believe to be intelligent, thoughtful, and, regardless of political viewpoint, able to engage in an open-minded dialogue with those with whom he or she may disagree.
