About the Society of Fellows

Extraordinary Ideas
Donors to the Society of Fellows (SOF) form an integral part of the Aspen Institute community, and as such are invited to attend year-round events including SOF Symposia, Luncheons and Discussion Receptions. Fellows are frequently among the first to know about Aspen Institute events in Aspen CO, Washington DC, Wye MD, and New York NY.

Extraordinary Access
Because of our policy work, global leadership network, public programs, and seminars, the Aspen Institute has access to some of the world's most inspired and provocative thinkers, writers, artists, business people, teachers, and leaders. As a member of the Society of Fellows, you will share in this access. Hear from, talk to, and debate with top minds—and expand your own.

Extraordinary Experiences
Fellows’ appreciation for the extraordinary work of the Institute is often the result of first-hand experiences. Many longtime Fellows recall having a life-transforming experience when they took part in the Aspen Seminar (previously the Executive Seminar). And quite a few new Fellows have enjoyed the richness of the Aspen Ideas Festival or have attended thought-provoking Fellows symposia.

Join Us!

Year after year, our Fellows choose to sustain the mission of the Institute because they understand the deep need for values-based leadership in today’s complicated world.
