Extraordinary Privileges
- SOF Symposia: Two- or three-day courses moderated by leading scholars offered six to eight times per year exclusively for members of SOF.
- SOF Luncheons: On the Institute campus with thought-provoking speakers five to six times during the summer in Aspen, CO.
- Complimentary seats at the Aspen Institute’s McCloskey Speaker Series and Hurst Lecture Series.
- Early registration for the Aspen Ideas Festival and other public programs.
- Invitations to special events, receptions, programs, and benefit dinners in Aspen, Washington, DC, New York, and Wye, MD.
- Invitations to monthly book events and roundtable discussions with policy makers in Washington, DC.
- Auditing privileges for Institute executive and leadership seminars and policy programs (when applicable).
- Opportunity to join the Resnick-Malek Heath Club at the Aspen Meadows Resort.

- Access to the SOF Reservations Hotline (dedicated line for e-mail and telephone requests).
- Subscription to the following publications: The Aspen Idea (the magazine of the Aspen Institute, published biannually), What’s New at the Aspen Institute (bi-monthly e-newsletter), SOF Newsletter (circulated monthly), Monday e-mail updates (circulated weekly for summertime Aspen events).
Individual Fellow ($2,500) will receive the Extraordinary Privileges listed above for one person.
Couple Fellows ($3,500) will receive the Extraordinary Privileges listed above for two people.
Vanguard Chapter Individual Fellow ($650) will receive access to some Extraordinary Privileges listed above and Vanguard Exclusive Programming for one person. Membership generally includes those in the 30-45 age range.
Vanguard Chapter Couple Fellows ($1,000) will receive access to some Extraordinary Privileges listed above and Vanguard Exclusive Programming for two people. Membership generally includes those in the 30-45 age range.

Aspen Leaf Society ($5,000) will receive, in addition to the Extraordinary Privileges listed above:
- Complimentary participation in one SOF Symposia.
- Access to additional tickets for friends, family, houseguests (on a space-available basis).
President's Society ($10,000) will receive, in addition to the Extraordinary Privileges listed above:
- Complimentary participation in two SOF Symposia.
- Invitations to SOF Dialogues with leading experts, including Institute policy program directors.
- Opportunity to purchase two Patron Passes* to the Aspen Ideas Festival.
Chairman's Society ($25,000) will receive, in addition to the Extraordinary Privileges listed above:
- Complimentary participation in all SOF Symposia.
- Invitations to SOF Dialogues with leading experts, including Institute policy program directors.
- Opportunity to purchase two Patron Passes* to the Aspen Ideas Festival.
- Dinner with the President of the Aspen Institute.
Gold Leaf Society ($50,000) will receive, in addition to the Extraordinary Privileges listed above:
- Complimentary participation in all SOF Symposia.
- Two complimentary Patron Passes* to the Aspen Ideas Festival and the opportunity to purchase more.
- Dinner with the President of the Aspen Institute.
- Conceirge-level services for invitations, registration, etc.
*A Patron Pass is available to donors of $10,000 and up, and is good for the entire week of the Aspen Ideas Festival. A portion of the fee for the pass helps to support Ideas Festival scholarships.
Please note: The Aspen Institute is a 501(c)(3) organization. Personal donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The tax deductible portion may be reduced by the value of complimentary symposia attended. You also may recommend a grant through a foundation or donor-advised fund.
