Society of Fellows Luncheons

Featuring talks by thought-provoking writers, artists, business people and other leaders, SOF Luncheons take place on Fridays, 12:30-2:00 PM, in the Doerr-Hosier Center; a fee of $30 covers expenses. Reservations can be made by calling the SOF Reservations Hotline (970) 544-7980, or by e-mailing SOF@aspeninstitute.org.

Upcoming SOF Luncheons (Summer 2011)

July 15: Women's Rights Are Human Rights, with Meryl Chertoff. Director of the Aspen Institute's Justice & Society program.


 

July 22: Breakthroughs in Stem Cell Research, with Dr. Steven Finkbeiner. Associate Director of the Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease, he will address breakthroughs in stem cell research, and the future of personalized medicine.


August 12: Possibilities for Peace in the Middle East, with Jeremy Ben-Ami. Founder and President of J Street, he will discuss his upcoming book, A New Voice for Israel (July 2011). He presents a new direction for both American policy and framing the debate over Israel among the American Jewish community.


August 19: Transforming Lives in Cambodia, with Scott Neeson. Founder and Executive Director of the Cambodian Children's Fund, former president of Twentieth Century Fox International. He will speak to the Fund's transformational work with Cambodia's most vulnerable population.
