Aspen Institute Italia invites applications for one scholarship in memory of Francesco Cossiga, former President of the Italian Republic and former Honorary Chairman of Aspen Institute Italia. This scholarship is launched as of September 2012, to encourage foreign students to study in Milan according to the guidelines stated hereunder.
IDEA Chairman Reed Hundt speech gave a speech at the June 29, 2011 OECD High Level Meeting entitled "The Internet Economy: Generating Innovation and Growth", in Paris, France. The aim of the High Level meeting was to reach a consensus on how best to ensure the continued growth and innovation of the Internet economy.
In her address to the OECD High Level Meeting on the Internet Economy, European Commission Vice President Neelie Kroes referenced the Aspen Institute IDEA project as one of the key forums which seeks to define "principles" for the Internet. The proceedings of the E-G8 Forum are now available in an eBook. Reed Hundt, Chairman of the IDEA Project, was one of the panelists on the panel entited "Sharing Value: How to divide the digital bounty among creator, distributors---and governments?"
This will be the fourth plenary meeting of the Aspen IDEA project and will feature US, European and other international companies, government officials and representatives of nongovernmental.
