Last November we honored tennis legend and Founder of the Women's Sports Foundation Billie Jean King with the Preston Robert Tisch Award in Civic Leadership.
The first Preston Robert Tisch Award in Civic Leadership was presented to jazz musician, educator and advocate for the arts Wynton Marsalis, on November 29th, 2010 at the Kaye Playhouse of Hunter College in New York City. The annual award is funded by the family of the late Preston Robert Tisch to carry on his legacy of public service and philanthropy.
