Michael Meyer, former Newsweek bureau chief for Germany, Central Europe and the Balkans and currently communications director for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, will join Romesh Ratnesar, Deputy Managing Editor of TIME Magazine, as our featured guests at the Gildenhorn Book Series.
Meyer’s new book is entitled The Year that Changed the World: The Untold Story Behind the Fall of the Berlin Wall (Scribner). Ratnesar’s book title is Tear Down This Wall: A City, a President, and the Speech that Ended the Cold War (Simon & Schuster). Ratnesar is deputy managing editor at TIME magazine.
