George V. Voinovich (R-OH) is a two-term US Senator from Ohio. In the current 111th Congress Senator Voinovich serves on the Committee on Appropriations, the Environment and Public Works Committee, and the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Prior to his service in the United States Senate, George Voinovich served in the Ohio House of Representatives, was Cuyahoga County Commissioner, Lieutenant Governor of Ohio, Mayor of Cleveland and Governor of Ohio. Senator Voinovich formerly chaired the Republican Governors Association (1992-1993) and the National Governors Association (1997-1998).
