Marianne Williamson Talks Spirituality and Politics

Marianne Williamson is an internationally acclaimed spiritual author and lecturer. Her newest book, “A Year of Miracles,” was released in December 2013. Six of her ten published books have been New York Times Bestsellers. Her other books include “A Return to Love,” “The Age of Miracles,” “Everyday Grace,” “A Woman’s Worth,” “Illuminata,” “Healing the Soul of America,” “The Gift of Change” and “The Law of Divine Compensation.”

She has been a popular guest on television programs such as “Oprah,” “Larry King Live,” “Good Morning America” and “Charlie Rose.” She founded Project Angel Food, a meals-on-wheels program that serves people with AIDS in the Los Angeles area, as well as the Department of Peace Campaign, a grass roots campaign to establish a United States Department of Peace.

In 2006, Newsweek magazine named Williamson one of the 50 most influential baby boomers. Williamson is currently a candidate for the US House of Representatives from California’s 33rd District.
