In a world rapidly moving and changing around me, I am particularly susceptible to attempt to gain control of my life in whatever ways I can. Perhaps it’s to make seemingly monumental life events feel more manageable, but I end up building cages – cages to compartmentalize and organize my life, but that eventually cage myself. In a cage, we feel a false sense of security, until beautiful rowdiness overcomes us and we yearn to break free.
When you feel caged, where do you find keys dropping for you? Do you cage yourself, or do you feel caged by others? What does beautiful rowdiness feel like for you? What does it mean to finally unlock the door and embrace freedom?
