Meditation
There’s nothing greater than the thrill of beginner’s luck – the clean slate of a mind without biases and judgements not yet developed. Quickly, we find, the phenomenon falls, and we’re faced with the obstacles that all experts have inevitably overcome – doubt, judgement, and occasionally fear of failure. But there’s courage in the admittance of knowing nothing, of embracing the blank slate. How have you wiped your slate clean in your life? When have you been resistant to the act of unknowing? What clarity can you gain from approaching life with a beginners mind?
