Life is full of sudden and often unwelcome storm surges. Blizzards that come crashing down on the world around us, causing us to seek refuge in the warmth of friendships and a radiant fireplace. In the morning, when the storm has passed, we peek out the curtains to see what has been created. Emerson describes his wonder at the new turrets and blankets of snow that has architected a wonderland just outside his door. What storms have come your way recently, and where do you seek refuge? With whom do you find comfort? What warms your hearth when you must hide away? After the damage has been done, what wonderland you find when you look outside?
